Welcome.....

In late 2004, the Armour Research Society was created as a collaboration of like-minded historic arms and armour enthusiasts. Since that time we have grown into an organization that is more than 150 members strong and counting. It is our members and the public that make us a valuable resource to the historic armour community. Whether you are new to the subject of historical arms and armour or a devout academic in the field, please join us as we continue to push the envelope of knowledge in the field of arms and armour and the environments in which they were created and used.

We will continually add to our publications, holding numerous events such as workshops and conferences.  We are also developing an online framework that will allow for the organized presentation many different types of educational materials in a variety of media formats. These materials will include online documentation, educational videos and artifact databases from various private collections and institutions.

Additionally, the Armour Research Society is recognized by the United States Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)3 educational organization. As such, all membership and additional donations to Armour Research Society are tax deductible for U.S. members to the extent allowable by the Internal Revenue Service.

Please visit membership link in our menu if you are interested in membership opportunities.

Regards,

Board of Directors
