Journal of the Armour Research Society
Edited by Tasha Kelly McGann
Over the past century numerous individuals have been crucial to the study and documentation of historical armour. Sir Guy Francis Laking, Claude Blair, Lionello Giorgio Boccia, Stephen Granscay, Martin Burgess and many others have provided us with a view into the world of armour and the medieval soldier that has been previously obscured from the modern mind through time.
It is the goal of The Journal of the Armour Research Society to continue the tradition of providing ground-breaking, accurate information on the subject of historical armour. The Society will follow in the footsteps of our predecessors as well as compliment our contemporaries.
The first Journal is now available!
